Slow Cooker Caramel Hot Chocolate

I am back for Blogmas Day 17… On the 26th…. My explanation for that is that I have a super busy work schedule and mental health is an important thing. The rest should explain itself. I know that Christmas has passed, but I will be sure to make up all of the days, however, even if it means making multiple posts in one day. So here we go! I am not a huge hot chocolate person, but for some reason, I like trying new recipes every year. I found this recipe here.

You will need:

4 cups whole milk

2 cups half and half

12 oz. milk chocolate chips

1/3 cup + 1 tbsp. caramel

½ tsp. vanilla extract

Whipped cream (for topping)

Extra caramel (for topping)

Put all ingredients in the slow cooker and cook on low for about 3 hours, or until all the ingredients are melted and combined. Be sure to stir every 30 minutes. Enjoy!

This hot chocolate was delicious! It was very sweet, though, so I couldn’t quite finish the whole cup. I feel like the caramel really made the flavor! What is your favorite hot chocolate mix-in? Comment below!
