Our Christmas Celebration

Today was my family’s Christmas get together. In the past years, we have always gotten together on Christmas Day at noon at my grandparents’ house. After they passed away, we carried on that tradition, just at my cousin’s house. This year, the family decided to switch up the tradition and do Christmas on a different day. We decided it would be easier for everyone considering so many people have to go to multiple different houses on Christmas Day.

We also decided to switch up the food. We have always done the traditional holiday food, but this year we did finger foods! I brought pig in a blankets, s’mores cookies, and chicken nacho dip. I love the menu either way we do it!

Every year we do the Chinese Gift Exchange (White Elephant). It is always so much fun! For my gift, I took a S’mores Gift Set that included two mugs, marshmallows, chocolate, graham crackers, and hot chocolate mix! The packaging was super cute! It was like a little camper. The gift I opened was a tool set. Luckily, my guy cousin ended up with girly body wash so we traded after the game was over. We both got out with good gifts. The body washes that I got smell sooooo good!

Not all of my family was able to make it this year, but we still had a lot of fun! The food was delicious, the gifts were great, and the laughs were endless. I am very thankful to have such a great, large family that has always stayed close.

Comment what you are doing for Christmas this year! I can’t believe that it’s almost here!!

xoxo, sav
