Ulta Advent Calendar Review

I am a huge fan of beauty advent calendars. I always try to get one big one every year. I ended up seeing this twelve day one from Ulta and figured I had to try it! I have sampled many Ulta brand products and have always liked them. I figured this was the perfect opportunity to find new beauty products that I have the potential of loving! I decided to open this one the 12 days leading up to December since I also got a different 24 day one. You’ll see that one later on! I “took notes” on each product and am going to share with you my personal thoughts on each item!

Brow Pencil – goes on really smoothly and was the perfect color for me. Blends really well with a spoolie brush and lasts long! Definitely a keeper!

Chubby Eye Crayon – Not really my type of product. Great color, though and blends easily.

Cream Eye Shadow – Again, not really my type of product. I loved the color, though, but it was a little streaky.

Eye liner – Goes on smoothly and lasts a good while. A keeper!

Shimmer Blush – Lovely! Great color, blends great, love it!

Lipstick – Goes on very smoothly. Although it is a popular color, it’s not really my color.

Loose Highlighter – Nice color but not super fond of the packaging/application process.

Matte Liquid Lipstick – Very pretty color, but too dark for me.

Glitter Lip Topper – Too much when applied alone, but nice when added on subtly with a plain gloss.

Glitter Eye Top Coat – A lot comes off so you have to be quite careful. Really pretty if used subtly, especially for a night out!

Gel Bounce Eye Shadow – Really pretty evening-time color! Goes on great!

Highlighting Drops – I like the way it looks on my nose but on other areas it’s a little too much. It also has a bit of a weird smell to it, almost rubbery.

Let me know what advent calendars you like to get around the holidays! I hope y’all are enjoying blogmas! I sure am enjoying doing it! Be back tomorrow!!

xoxo, sav
