How To: Homemade Exfoliating Sugar Scrub

About a year ago, I started experimenting with a lot of different sugar scrub recipes because I was really into them. I have a few that I like and that I tend to make over and over again so I figured I would share one with y’all today!

This can be used all over the body, it’s not just for your hands.

Makes: 4 mason jars (6 oz. each)

You will need:

5 cups demerara sugar

8 tablespoons coconut oil

8 tablespoons vegetable glycerin

8 tablespoons liquid castile soap

2 teaspoons vitamin E oil (1400 IU)

1 ½ teaspoons lavender essential oil (or essential oil of your choice)

4 mason jars (6 oz. each)

Put the sugar in a medium-sized bowl.

Add the coconut oil, vitamin E oil, vegetable glycerin, and castile soap to the sugar and mix well with a fork.

Add the lavender essential oil (or essential oil of your choice) and mix well.

Spoon scrub into mason jars and just like that, they’re ready to use!

I love this recipe because it’s super simple and these last forever! If they start to separate, just mix with a fork again and you’ll be good to go!

Let me know if you decide to try out this sugar scrub! I also sell these so comment below or email me at savannahcowart12@gmail.com if you’re interested in purchasing one!

xoxo, sav
